Delores Kennedy-Williams, President, LenDe Consultants LLC is a noted facilitator, training specialist, and keynote speaker. Her fields of expertise include, Adoption, Foster Care, Family Preservation, Undoing Strongholds of Racism, Caregiving, Leadership Development, and many other women's, children's and family issues. Prior to forming her own company, Mrs. Kennedy-Williams served as Director of Adoption & Services Integration, and Director of Adoption & Community Development for White's Family Services and the Villages of Indiana respectively. She also served as National Action Coordinator of Religious and Women's organizations for CDF.
Mrs. Kennedy-Williams, served for eight years as International President and CEO of the Women's Missionary Society, AME Church. In this position, Mrs. Kennedy-Williams, who has always had a burden for making a difference in the lives of women and children, regularly provided leadership training for women, provided goods and services for children’s hospitals and orphanages, visited and worked in Children’s AIDS hospitals, Women’s jails and prisons, always teaching and making a positive difference.
Mrs. Kennedy-Williams also served as National President of The Black Women’s Agenda, Inc. (One of a few persons to have served as National/International President of two women’s organizations.) In this position she convened 15 National African American Presidents and established workshops dealing with Racism, Breast Cancer, AIDS, Cessation of Smoking, and other issues related to women and children in regions all over the United States
Mrs. Kennedy-Williams participates regularly in women’s, children’s, marriage and family and child welfare conferences all over the world as a trainer and Keynote speaker.
Mrs. Kennedy-Williams is a member of NAACP (life member), Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc., The, Links, Inc., The Black Women’s Agenda, Inc. She further serves on the board of directors of Conference of National Black Churches, Women’s Missionary Society of the AME Church, and The Black Women’s Agenda. She is the Immediate past president of the Indiana Association of Adoption and Child Care Services.
She is a member of St John African Methodist Episcopal Church, and is listed in Outstanding Women in the World, Outstanding Women in Indiana, Who’s who in Black Women in America, named one of ten most influential African American women in Indianapolis, recipient of many honors and awards, including an honorary doctorate from Monrovia College, Monrovia, Liberia Mrs. Kennedy-Williams is one of five women named Charter members to the Madame C.J. Walker Hall of Fame.
Widowed, 5 wonderful children and known as "Godmother" to countless young people around the world, Mrs. Kennedy-Williams holds a B.S. (Psychology & Management) and M.S. (Management) and retired as Adjunct Professor, Indiana Wesleyan University and mentors many, many young women.
